WHAT HAPPENS IN MITOSIS ANAPHASE
Anaphase begins when the duplicated centromeres of each pair of sister chromatids separate, and the now-daughter chromosomes begin moving toward opposite poles of the cell due to the action of the spindle. Then each daughter DNA gets some of the cell contaning the chromatid.
What Happens in Mitosis Anaphase
Two events then occur: first, the proteins that bind sister chromatids together are cleaved. These sister chromati become separate daughter chromosomes, and are pulled apart.
